About Us

Welcome to the redesigned eColorado portal -- Colorado's workforce development clearinghouse of resources for education, employment, and business!  Launched in 2004 with funding from the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration, eColorado was developed by and for Colorado workforce professionals, employers, job seekers, students, and other public and private sector workforce development partners.  In early 2007 a redesigned portal was introduced that retains the same extensive library of workforce development content (e.g. documents, links, presentations, newsletters, and events), search features, and collaboration tools, but now offers users a streamlined look and expanded features:

  • Content has been reorganized to help users locate needed information more quickly. Begin with the topics on the left toolbar or use the search feature to browse a range of information or quickly locate a desired item.
  • Create your own personalized eColorado page to organize the information that is most useful to you. You have the option of making it your home page.
  • Register (or re-register if you are an existing user) on e-Colorado to be notified of new content in topic areas that are important to you or participate in peer networking.
  • Team room features have been expanded. Each team room now has its own home page and improved opportunities for collaboration and sharing information. Create or join an existing team room on a variety of workforce topics.

All eColorado features continue to be made available at no charge to the user. Complete access to the portal's library of workforce documents and other content may be accessed without registration. However, registration is required to personalize eColorado to your knowledge and collaboration priorities. Click on the "Sign up" button on right toolbar to be guided through the simple registration process.

Take some time to explore what eColorado has to offer you. The links on the top of the portal connect you to the most popular features and types of content. The links on the left toolbar point to the topics most often sought out by users of the portal. The toolbar on the right allows you to search for content within eColorado or on hundreds of other workforce development websites, and it contains the link to your personal page.

We hope you find eColorado a useful tool whether you are a job seeker, a student, an employer, a workforce development professional, or anyone looking for workforce information or resources. Your feedback will be useful in our continuous improvement efforts, so please let us know what you like or don't like about this site. Contact the eColorado administrator at cdle_ecolorado_admin@state.co.usIf you have any technical problems or questions, please contact the development Team at OIT-ETA Support.
